Finance Made Simple
Services and pricing

Start with a clear package, then let the quote adjust to the actual work.

Choose the closest service below and use the personalised quote where the work is standard. If the records are messy, deadlines are urgent, or the facts are uncertain, use the enquiry route so the scope can be reviewed before a fee is given. Revolutionary stuff: pricing that admits reality exists.

The package cards keep the first decision simple. The sections below explain the main pricing logic and scope caveats.

SA Self assessment From £100.00 per return

Personal tax returns for sole traders, landlords, directors, and people with side income.

  • No trade income — self assessment return starts from £50.
  • Trade income up to £100,000 turnover — £50 trade scope add-on.
  • Trade income from £100,001 to £200,000 — £150 trade scope add-on.
  • Trade income from £200,001 to £500,000 — £250 trade scope add-on.
  • Trade income from £500,001 to £1,000,000 — £500 trade scope add-on.
  • Trade income over £1,000,000 — £1,000 trade scope add-on.
  • Multiple trades, rental properties, dividends, and capital gains add scope where they apply.
BK Bookkeeping From £5.00 per 10 transactions

Ongoing bookkeeping, billed against transaction volume and software setup.

  • Bookkeeping from software, spreadsheets, or exported data starts at £5 per 10 transactions.
  • Source-document processing, cleanup, or backlog catch-up is reviewed before work starts where the records need more handling.
  • If you analyse the records yourself and send year-end totals, the quote keeps the year-end and tax services without a monthly bookkeeping line.
  • Software setup and subscription support are quoted as separate lines when included.
VAT VAT returns From £30.00 per return

VAT return preparation and filing through MTD-compatible software.

  • Charged per return, only when included in the engagement.
  • Quarterly, monthly, and annual schemes are all supported.
  • Records quality and scheme type can move the final scope.
LTD Limited company year end From £750.00

Statutory accounts and Companies House filing for limited companies.

  • Base year-end fee covers a standard small-company filing.
  • Corporation tax is added as a separate line when included.
  • Payroll, bookkeeping, and director self assessment are quoted alongside as needed.
CT Corporation tax From £200.00

CT600 preparation and submission, normally paired with year-end work.

  • Each included line is itemised before any acceptance step.
  • R&D, capital allowances claims, and group relief are reviewed manually.
PAY Payroll and CIS From £5.00 per payroll run

Monthly or weekly payroll plus CIS where applicable.

  • Priced by employee count and pay frequency.
  • CIS is priced as a separate line if it is part of the engagement.
  • Auto-enrolment and pension submissions are handled with the payroll run.

When a quote can change

  • The facts entered on the website are incomplete, estimated, or later turn out to be materially different.
  • The records quality, bookkeeping clean-up, or predecessor handover is heavier than the original request suggested.
  • Extra taxes, filings, payroll work, company structures, directors, members, or deadlines are discovered before work starts.
  • You ask for more services after the first quote was prepared.

The point of the quote is transparency, not a trap. If the real scope is bigger, the fee basis is explained against the extra work rather than changed without context.
